Lunseth's Scope of Work:

The COELSAT, the Center of Excellence in Life Sciences & Advanced Technologies, is located near the Hilton Garden Inn just west of campus, serves a unique function when compared to other research-performing institutes. Going beyond simple experimentation and knowledge gathering, the goal of the COELSAT is to establish an interface between the university, researchers, and private sector businesses. To assist with COELSAT, Lunseth Plumbing & Heating CO. had to provide sophisticated HVAC and plumbing systems. Beyond the obvious economic opportunities posed by the COELSAT, there are also extensive possibilities for growth in other areas of development. The development of the center implies many opportunities for job creation, especially in consideration of recent and forthcoming UND graduates. Tonder outlined this as one of the most exciting aspects of COELSAT, stating that the center will foster the "development of economic opportunities locally ... Research is more than just knowledge; it's also economic development."
